What is an e-Portfolio? What can it do for me?

1. NTHU e-portfolio (ith.nthu.edu.tw), also known as an e-resume, is a collection of electronic evidence assembled and managed by a user. The features of e-Portfolio are as follows:

Create, preserve, and manage your academic achievements in various formats (documents, photos, graphics, spreadsheets, or web pages)

An e-portfolio can be seen as a type of learning record that provides actual evidence of academic as well as extracurricular achievements.

E-portfolios are dynamic resumes composed of text, pictures, audio and videos. All the above (learning) records could be further used for interview.

2. An effective way to diversely present learning records. In addition to plain text, e-portfolio provides visuals, audio, or other digital formats to present your resume. You can make it before graduation.

3. Can easily reflect students' learning status, leading to more awareness of learning strategies and needs.

By reviewing the professional ability bar chart created based on the grades of courses, users can effectively examine their learning process and adjust it accordingly.

4. Provide access to blogs, albums, message board and online cloud storage in NTHU.

5. Users can upload their pictures to uniquely customize their unique e-Portfolios. Additionally, users are allowed to configure their privacy policies.
