How is the learning model of “Synchronized Distance Learning”?
“Synchronized Distance Learning” launched by our school has gathered famous and learned professors in our country to arrange various curriculums and teaching materials meticulously. In the time period of semester’s starting, a student may go to our division and ask for the curriculum outline for course selection reference. At the actual class, it will be centralized at the Distance Learning Classroom, General Building for synchronized distance learning through IP lines. At the course of a class, students not only can listen to our or other school teacher’s proficient lecture but also can discuss with the professor interactively through microphones and cameras and our school’s other advanced visual signal facilities. Besides, students can submit homework and have discussions through Internet. The homework will be announced on the web site regularly. Students may submit their homework by due date to our school’s teaching assistants or directly email it to the professors. For those questions encountered at self-study, students may consult the professor through email or telephone.
How is the advantage of choosing distance learning?
1. Avoid traffic and time limitation for both teachers and students. Therefore students can learn more knowledge and techniques through synchronized distance learning.
2. Distance learning is a teaching style across ages. It allows students to select desired courses across schools. It also allows different school’s professors and students to communicate interactively in real time.
3. Distance learning provides a multivariant, on-line, interactive ways to solve various learning problems. It fulfils the purpose of tutoring. It also improves the embarrassment that Chinese people are usually shy at asking questions to their teachers in public.
Is there any student number limitation for each curriculum?
Yes. Between the end of a semester and beginning of a new semester, students may go to the web site of Division of Curriculum to browse or download curriculum outline for course selection reference. However, in order to maintain teaching quality, each teacher has different limitation on number of students. Please select courses carefully, and not to miss any desired class.
How to submit homework?
The homework will be announced on each class. It is to be submitted according to the regulations of the professor.
