Learning Portfolio System

The Learning Portfolio System consists of three sub-systems: Curriculum-mapping subsystem, Core-ability subsystem and Electronic-resume subsystem.

Aims of the system

  • With the Core-ability system, students will understand the abilities they will learn during their studies.
  • After developing various abilities, students can have clear plans for their futures.
  • Provide students roadmaps about their learning schedule.

Curriculum-mapping subsystem:

Provide all members in the school to access the subsystem, and search for curriculum maps of all departments and institutes. Additionally, the subsystem shows the courses that a student has taken such that every student can compare with his/her curriculum map. It provides guidance about course enrolling for students.

Core-ability subsystem:

The main purpose of this subsystem is to provide the reference for teachers of running the course and self-examination on teaching objectives. After the course is finished, the subsystem adds the scores into account such that the departments and institutes can understand the learning achievements about their students.

 Electronic-resume subsystem:

Encourage students to develop their multi-disciplinary abilities. The subsystem collects the performance of students and helps students systematically review their individual performances. It can be served as a personal electronic resume, which is helpful for students’ career planning.

The subsystem contains six parts:

Academic performance

Scholarships, Presidential Award
