Campus Antivirus Will Switch to PC-cillin; Kaspersky and Symantec Retired on Dec. 31, 2025

Description

  • The current antivirus software, Kaspersky and Symantec, will end on Dec 31, 2025.
Installed software will still work for about one month, and protection will continue normally during this period.
  • Besides replacing the antivirus with PC-cillin, the campus will use a tiered management approach:
    • University-owned devices (desktops and laptops in admin and teaching units)
must install the Central Managed Version for easier updates and security management.
    • Personal devices can install the Standalone Version.
